Track Cycling

45 mins plus 5 laps

This is the first of three evenings we're hoping to have at the aerodrome to ride the perimeter track this year. This first is targeted at families, kids, social riders and those intrigued to have a ride round a wonderful 2.12 mile track with no cars to be seen.

No access to the cafe unfortunately so bring flasks and snacks if you want refreshments. We plan to get out onto the track around 7pm but have to wait for the all-clear from air traffic control. So don't go out until cleared by Adrian...

More details to follow soon but this will be our third track session at Calshot followed by a meal afterwards nearby. One of the most exhilarating experiences you'll ever have on a bike. Total cost for the cycling around £20 with a share of petrol etc too.

A track training session at Calshot with coach Nigel Dickinson for up to 12 RCC riders.

You will ride a fixed wheel bike without brakes at Calshott's banked velodrome and receive training with Nigel. This was a huge success last time out. 

The cost will be around £12 per person with a £9 fee to hire a track bike - plus a share of petrol costs. Likely to involve a meal afterwards too!
