JOHN MCMULLAN will lead an easy social/Newcomers ride of around 20 - 30 miles... always a varied route, tea stops a dream!
BRIAN COSTELLO will lead the Social Intermediate riders out to Borde Hill taking in Turners Hill and lovely lanes (plus a great view of the Balcombe Viaduct) for a delightful ride of around 50 miles.
SIMON DEEFHOLTS will lead the 'fast intermediate'. He says: 40-45 or so flat'ish miles out into Kent at an ave of 17 mph. Coffee stop post ride in Reigate, weather & time permitting. (Cafe Nerro.)
The Sporting Fast Ride will be led by Rupert Burbidge and is more of a race training ride.
NB: DO NOT WEAR DULL/BLACK CLOTHING!! This is not a fashion event; you need to be seen by dozey motorists. We strongly recommend a crash helmet, correctly fastened. Wear mitts & eye protection. Always carry a waterproof, two spare tubes, a drink and your mobile.
