Sunshine at last!

Sunshine and clear blue skies greeted us for the Saturday ride; the perfect conditions were a welcome change from weeks of rain.

Two new faces, Simon and Chris seemed to be enjoying themselves and even Nick Curran didn't complain too much about the speed, route or hills but focussed his ire this time on the choice of Tulley's tea stop; some people are never satisfied.

Brian headed off early, saving his legs for Sunday's Sportive. Chris put in a brave performance on a mountain bike and detoured to see relatives at Turners Hill.

The rest of us meandered back, managing to lose Nick somewhere, maybe he found a better tea stop! 43 miles at 15mph, nice and gentle! Don't expect such comfort next week!
