Saturday saw five young guns leave Woodhatch Park via Leigh and Blanks Lane to Stan Hill, then Charlwood and Ifield Wood up the drag to Rusper... Tanhouse for tea, cake and rendezvous with lots of other winter-hardy riders, then home via Newdigate an d Flanchford Road.

The picture shows the appeal to Santa at Tanhouse... "We need better bikes than these..."

On the ride, Maddy and Freddie were strong as ever and young Nick showed his ever-continuing improvement staying with his faster peers throughout the ride. Sevi - the only one without cleats and drops - did well particularly on hills, his strong suit.

A great morning, not too nippy but some nice pink faces by the time we headed for home.

Thanks to Nick D and Chris G for supporing the G0. The future of the club...
