Mud smiles at everyone, the best you can do is smile back! And twenty-four riders did exactly that last Saturday, with high spirits and the fun of being back to our old trails spurring us on.
The forecast rain never materialised, and conditions were relatively warm with several riders stripping off the layers soon after leaving the car park.
The going was tough at times, and so we followed a slightly shorter route than usual, but still clocked up 18 miles and returned to the car park by 12:45 for a coffee and snacks.
We met Geoff just after setting out from Reigate Hill, and Nick later on in the ride, apparently still working off the hangover that kept him from the AGM the night before!
