Another nice one to Newlands

We welcomed 4 newcomers on this ride - Carolyn, Richard, Ben & Duncan.  Ten of us set off via the A24 cycle track, up and around Norbury Park, down the back of Polesden Lacey & up the long flint track...... the most significant climb of the day ! Along the Drove road & NDW where we had our only puncture. At Newlands Corner we were joined by Robert. Back again the same way & then along the road across  Ranmore. The Ranmore track is slow & tedious - the low lying parts still boggy & uneven, the higher parts hard rutted from horses hooves. A final descent through Denbies & back to Rykas.
