Mince Pie ride - from fog to sun

About 5 groups set off from the Drome in a cold mist which condensed on our glasses, making visibilty very difficult. It became even more difficult when the sun broke through onto te misted lenses. Eventually the mist slowly cleared and, by the time most people were in sight of Tanhouse Farm, we were enjoying a gloriouly sunny day. Tanners looked after us well, including a brazier around which some of the 60+ riders were able to huddle.

Occasions like this give an opportunity for members from all corners of the club to intermingel - off-road amd on-road, G2 through to G6. Perhpas we should have a socia ride like this more often; not just Christmas and the summer BBQ.
