WET and Warm to Newlands

Four of us gathered at Ryka's in steady rain. As it is summer the rain was warm.
We took an easy climb up to the church on Ranmore and then onto an alternative offroad track running parallel to the road. This bypasses the well known deep puddles of the more popular route and is interesting and little used.

There were very few people to be seen and Newlands was also very quiet.
We chose to take the 'low' route to return so straight down the loose track from the car park and passing by the villages of Albury, Shere, Gomshall and Abinger Hammer finally
touching the road on the outskirts of Dorking.
Back to Ryka's along the A24 cycle path dating back to the 1930's.

Many thanks to Mark for putting this ride up and keeping us in order.
