70th Anniversary Rides & Hog Roast after

70 mile celebration rides and hog roast

Saturday 5th September. Road rides will commence at the Drome; off-road rides at the Dog & Duck. Both rides to finish at the Dog and Duck, Outwood for a hog roast starting at 2 pm. Price of the hog roast is highly subsidised at £5 a head. Partners and family welcome, children under 10 free. Names and numbers to Frank Grainger asap. Numbers limited to 100.

Richard Sterry 'Masterclass' - 7pm Maison du Velo Reigate

MTB endurance specialist, Richard Sterry, who became famous for completing the South Downs Triple (300 miles off road, Winchester-Eastbourne-Winchester-Eastbourne) in 37 hours of non-stop riding... has offered an evening covering techniques (both mental and physical) that he focused on during the training for this epic. 

A big emphasis will be on pedalling technique but all in there will be something for everybody at every level and discipline of the club to learn from.

 

IT WILL BE HELD AT MAISON DU VELO WHO SERVE COFFEE, FOOD AND WILL START AT 7PM.

RCC's annual Awards Ceremony.

Venue: Bletchingley Golf Club

Occasion: Presentation of Awards covering RCC achievements in 2014

Cost: TBC

Invited: All members and 'other halfs'

Timings (provisional): 

Drinks from 7pm

Presentations: 7.45pm

Dinner served: 8.45pm

Carriages: 10.30pm onwards

 

 

RCC AGM 2014 - Friday 7.30pm

The Redhill Cycling Club AGM takes place at the Quaker Meeting house, starting 7.30pm on Friday evening with proceedings likely to start around 7.45pm. Sandwiches, biscuits, cakes, crisps, tea and coffee all laid on. Please come to vote for a new committee and hear about the achievements and challenges within the club.

A Q&A session with PCSO Bert Dean at Maison du Velo, Lesbourne Road, Reigate. A chance to ask anything about the legal side of cycling, cars, the road, highway code etc etc.
