This is the first of three proposed skills development sessions that will be open to all members of the club who wish to take up the opportunity. Please indicate if you would be inteested in attending and further details will be sent to you.
The date for the trial Skills Development Session has been brought forward to 5th February and is now confirmed. Those of you who have expressed an interest in attending will be sent invitations very shortly. Dates for the full rolled-out version will be published for March and April.
Gather at the Village Hall in Leigh at 7pm for quick, tight bunch circuits of the Gadbrook loop. Anyone late arriving, wait until the bunch passes and join on. Likewise, anyone dropped, pedal easy in the same direction and rejoin.
Emphasis on disciplined group riding at speed.
Suitable for the strongest G4s and above. ALL attending must have experience of group riding and chaingang etiquette.

Thursday evening training ride for strong G4s upwards. Starting opposite Leigh village hall and doing anticlockwise laps of Gadbrook, Bunce etc until all are gathered then heading off for around 1 hr of pacy group riding. Only join if you have ridden before in a tight, quick bunch and are happy with the protocols thereof! If you arrive late, head clockwise round the loop until you see the group coming the .opposite way. LIGHTS ESSENTIAL.
The weekly Turbo session assisted by encouragement, cycling footage and music!
Be at the YMCA just before 8pm.
No need to bring your Turbo Trainer and bike as the YMCA make all their spin bikes available to us (just beware the big saddles).
Essentials: lots of liquid, towel, fuel, sense of humour!
